Real Time Order Status Notifications are Here!
We have a few exciting improvements to announce regarding our shipping process and order status notifications:
New Shipping Options
We're now using a variety of freight carriers to save time and money when shipping orders over 150lb (68kg). Using these new carriers, shipping costs have been reduced by as much as 70% over FedEx! In addition, you now have the option to arrange your own shipping or freight forwarding (known as Ex Works shipping). Click here to read about DAP and Ex Works shipping options.
Real Time Order Status Notifications
We are also rolling real time order status notifications. Previously, you would only get an email when you submitted an order, and when the order was shipped - but nothing in between. Now, we're going to send emails as the order moves through the process, including when orders are being produced, packed, and shipped.
We'll also notify you automatically if orders are placed on hold, items are unavailable, or if we need more information to process your order (such as RapidCut location information).
These new features will improve your ability to see where your order is in the process, reduce the cost of shipping, and make the ordering experience a better one.
